The Couple

We met the way most modern couples do – on Hinge. Leading up to our first date in October 2018 I swore it would be my last for a while. That night at the Stars game I realized I was right but not at all in the way I expected. It felt like a forever kind of thing.

I was living in Dallas at the time and Mark was in Forth Worth. We quickly realized that DFW long distance just wouldn’t do. And so our brady bunch with Winston and Max was born. Even if I hadn’t been sure – Winston absolutely was.

From their first meeting, Mark & Winston have been equally enamored with each other.
Despite being adamant that I never wanted a big dog (big doesn’t quite do Max justice), Max & Mark won me over.
I never do anything halfway, and our relationship has been no exception.

Within a few years of dating we conquered COVID, buying a house and Mark going back to school to get his MBA. They say opposites attract, and that is certainly true for us. Mark is as even – keeled as they come, whereas I am a bit more like a sinus rhythm.

We love traveling together but you can find Mark golfing, and me baking in the sun with a book. We can’t thank y’all enough for making the trip to Santa Barbara. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter of our lives and celebrate with all of you.
